The guys at ML are working on sensor stuff, claiming they can alter ISO slightly, increading dynmaic range (hopefully they’ll get it to up and running, especially for the 7D. It could use help in the noise dept). Check this out: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=10111
