I’ve never seen that before…

I was watching an awards ceremony yestwrday morning at my kid’s school. They were giving out awards to the students for outstanding achievements in various categories. After watching and documenting my kid getting her award, I spent most of the time wondering what the official photographer was doing.
I’ve never seen anyone go up on stage and almost right into the speakers face and fire off some shots (white card ceiling bounce flash).  Nor have I seen a photog run up on stage behind a choir’s performance to shoot the crowd / conductor. It looked so awkward and unsightly to me. The international awards winning choir, all dressed up with make up singing beautifully and then you get a jeans and polo t wearing guy moving around behind them firing shots with flash.
Oh well, hope he got some good shots cuz im pretty sure he photobombed a lot of parents’.
