Reuters rejects RAW !

Lucky my main “events” camera can be set to shoot both, on separate cards simultaneously because I know I’ll forget to check which format I’m shooting. What do you think of this new JPG only format Reuters has adopted?

EU’s planned landmark photography ban

Thank goodness it didn’t go through.

Basically the proposed EU law could hold photographers accountable (breach of copyright) if they photography famous landmarks and other works of art.

Sometimes I wonder if there isn’t something better for these lawmakers to be thinking about and action-ing on.

Hope this doesn’t start happening everywhere else too…
