I really hate having to send equipment out of country for a quote.
This is the case for the busted lcd panel on my Nissin flash. See pic. What I can’t underatand is why the local distributor (more accurately, its rep) can’t or won’t hazard any ballpark guesses on laboir per hour or price for parts. The only thing he could do was send it off and wait for the quote but how long it’ll take is unknown.
Sounds too shady for my liking.


I’ve decided not to let them take my flash. Instead I’m planning the making of a trash the flash vid in protest…lol
